Vessel Safety Checks

New River Sail & Power Squadron

A Unit of United States Power Squadrons, Inc.®

Sail and Power Boating — District 27  . . . "America's Boating Club" Crown molding coffered ceiling.

New River Sail and Power Squadron, in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, conducts free Vessel Safety Checks for boat owners.  Besides checking for proper safety equipment usage, Vessel Safety Checks give boat owners the opportunity to discuss with examiners the use and purpose of various safety equipment items, clarify various boating regulations, and ask any safety questions they may have regarding boating.  Boaters whose boats pass the safety checks are given a decal identifying their boat as being in compliance with all federal, state and local safety requirements. Visit our comprehensive prepaid FAQ section to find out more about prepaid debit cards
