Membership in the New River Sail and Power Squadron is open to anyone with an interest in and love of recreational boating, whether or not you own a boat.

Family Membership Facts
Individuals who are related to an active member (by blood, legal adoption
or marriage), and who reside with or are dependents of such active members can join the Power Squadron as a Family Member. Although Family Members may not hold an elective office, wear the uniform, fly
the ensign, earn a merit mark or vote, they can be appointed to a committee, attend business meetings, participate in social activities, and they can take advanced courses after passing an examination
approved by the Operating Committee. Family Members may also serve on appointed committees. We encourage non-member family members to join our Squadron and join in the fun and important

New River Sail & Power Squadron also has a club site on Yahoo that enables us to keep in touch with each other and any interested boaters on a daily basis. Our "club" site
includes a message board, a private chat room for boating discussions and activity planning for ourselves . . . or for conference chats with members of other Squadrons.PLEASE NOTE: Before clicking on to the
